Get lost in a good book and see the benefits

by | Apr 16, 2021

Did you know that 20% of those who committed to reading regularly displayed more health longevity than those who didn’t? Harvard Medical School confirmed this and you only have to research the benefits of reading to see experts boasting that it reduces stress, changes poor sleeping patterns and improves brain connectivity.
We have committed to reading for ten minutes a day, every day. This can be fiction or nonfiction. After the ten minutes it’s up to you if you want to continue. We challenge you to try it for a week and see how you feel. I’m currently re-reading books that were foundational to me years ago. I’m in the midst of Susan Scott’s ‘Fierce Conversations’, it’s a ripper!
Reading is one of the most simple ways to improve your mental health and general well-being.  Yip, no need to get your active wear on or buy a heap of healthy food, you can simply pick up a good book to make a difference.
What book is one your favs that you would reread?
