“The Can We Talk team were excellent to deal with and met all our expectations. Justine our facilitator for the program was awesome and was able to connect with every participant and fine tune their leadership skills. The new team leaders in the Department were able to learn how to tackle difficult conversations and work towards achieving a positive outcome. Engaging in these workshops was a win/win. We will definitely be reaching out to Can We Talk again in the near future to organise more development programs.”

“There are not many people in the world that can tell you that – you need to improve, you did that wrong, pick up after yourself – and make you feel good at the same time. It is a rare skill and still more rare that they can actually teach you how to do just that as well.”
Graeme Strange Managing Director at Readify

Georgia worked with BASF Australia by giving us the tools and guidance to diagnose our current culture and hear each other’s perspectives. Together we looked at the roles we were playing as leaders to gauge if we were helping or hindering where we wanted to be. We established a clear understanding of the areas we wanted to be better at as leaders. Using that as our foundation we then turned our collective brain power to the complexities of gender inequality in our workplace and industries. Georgia lead our large diverse group through a fit for purpose pragmatic tool to see the problem from a fact based lens, removing emotion, assumptions and bias. We generated a bucket load of ideas from the beautifully simple to industry changing. Georgia guided us to prioritise and narrow our focus to the initiatives that would make the most impact and add value. Georgia enabled us to get to heart of the matters that are important to our business and our people and move to informed action quickly as an aligned team. Thanks Georgia!
Kathryn O’Hehir, Head of Business Services at BASF

It was an absolute pleasure to partner with Georgia and her team to create a series of online feedback masterclasses for our leaders. Georgia and her team were responsive and worked collaboratively to ensure our objectives were met, and Georgia’s natural warmth, humour and immense knowledge shine through in the masterclasses to make what can sometimes be a tricky topic be engaging and enjoyable. Georgia facilitated a Leadership program for a group of LVMH senior leaders of which I was one. The program was excellent. Take away tools are really useful and insights into our personal leadership styles, who we are, how we react to the world around us and how we can adjust to be more effective. I have implemented virtually everything we took away to good effect both on a professional and personal level. Georgia’s energy, honesty and insights alongside the structure of the program, a mixture of workshops and one to ones with Brett Wood allowed us to go on a journey both personally and as a group, culminating us solving a problem together. I highly recommend Georgia and her team; they will make a difference to your organization.
Kaye Larnder, Senior Director, Country Manager at Benefit Cosmetics

“Georgia and her team did a fantastic job running feedback workshops across our whole company. We found the Can We talk team professional, communicative and on the ball in the preparation for the program. We also appreciated the openness to adapting the program structure both before and during the workshops.
Georgia had great energy as a presenter and the content was practical and effective. She engaged everyone across the team, from those online right through to senior leaders.
As for real outcomes, we saw a 19% increase in our engagement survey on the question of managers giving positive and gap feedback. We’ve also had positive feedback from our team on what they learnt and evidence of it being put into practice.”
Manal Thomas, People and Culture Team Lead, TDM Growth Partners

“When the proposal for feedback training at Airtasker was initially raised, I admittedly jumped to the conclusion that giving and receiving feedback was pretty commonsensical and something that I already knew how to do.
But after being lovingly nudged to join Georgia’s feedback training: I was blown away by how wrong I had been. Georgia combines a “slap in the face” level of energy with some profound wisdom that really cuts through and establishes the genuine motivation to prioritise quality feedback.
At Airtasker, the learnings we gained have been critical in developing a feedback culture that empowers people to do their best work, rewards excellence and ultimately paves the way for more honest, higher quality relationships.
Starting out as a sceptic, I’m now a huge fan of their work and the leverage it can have on company culture and ultimately performance.
Tim Fung Founder and CEO at Airtasker

Neami National engaged Georgia’s company to assist our many service managers in NSW to better handle the difficult conversations that arise from managing people and teams. Georgia and her team worked with us to clarify our requirements and tailored the delivery of training to meet our needs. The training was delivered expertly by Matt in a challenging environment with everyone having to wear masks. He managed to keep everyone entertained and focused. The feedback was very positive and we have established an ongoing community of practice to help people practice and reflect on the learning they undertook. Georgia delivered a highly engaging session with the team that team loved and were able to put into action.
Michael Bouari, CEO at 1- Stop Connections

I really enjoyed my sessions with Brett, and I appreciated his planning, his thoughtfulness, and his expertise. From the start, he involved my manager upfront to discuss and agree on what we were seeking to achieve through my exec coaching. We then used the Leadership Circle methodology as a frame for the more specific development aims that I had, but each session was discussed and agreed upfront to make the best use of the time available, and a few of the sessions had specific homework to continue the reflection and encourage me to put some of the theory into practice. Brett was very approachable and available and was happy to let the sessions go off topic if there were specific matters to explore. He was also very open to offering specific guidance to try to address specific problems. All in all, I appreciated Brett’s approach, his high EI, and his expertise.
Paul Slade, Senior Director, Commercial Operations at Gilead

We have had some fantastic feedback and can clearly see evidence of our teams translating this into action.”
Ross Jones, General Manager at Wesfarmers

She is a great person to co-develop a program with as she very much listens for need and creates and adapts the Can We Talk Program accordingly. She provided our people managers with a great structure for a ‘Can We Talk’ conversation and helped them understand why we can and do avoid such conversations…they left feeling like they had more tools in their people manager kit bag to ‘take on’ the conversations needed to enable more successful workplace relationships.”

Georgia and her team designed and delivered a fantastic workshop for my team called – “Feedback that doesn’t suck”. The workshop content was tailored to suit our team’s needs through an in-depth discussion of how the course can be most effective.
